Getting It Together

I am slowly getting the site together…at least the visitor section. I had so much content before and I really don’t think anyone even looked at it. I am trying to pick and choose what I want to keep. So far, I have added Smilies/Emoticons and Rating Stars. Yup. That’s it. Oh well. Things will come together slowly! šŸ˜€

I know all I ever do it bitch…but I have another thing to bitch about. What a shock šŸ˜® LOL. So yesterday I was at the gym, minding my own business and working out and I saw this little girl (about 12 years old) running around and using the cardio machines. I saw her using the rowing machine and she is doing it completely wrong and out of wack. One of the fitness leaders had to come over to her and tell her how to properly use it. Then she went to two other machines and used them for a few minutes. She kept squeezing past me to get to the machine behind me. I glanced behind me and her mother was there. But the mother was not preventing the little girl from running around. It was really annoying. Our gym is supposed to be for adults. So what was it, bring your kids to the gym day and let them run around crazy?! šŸ˜” I suppose kids are allowed to come in with a parent, but in this situation, the mother really wasn’t watching over her daughter. Urgh. It was really annoying. Especially since she kept bumping me when she squeezed past to get to her mother.

Anyway, I am playing around with getting gravatar icons to show up next to a comment! Yay! It is so fun to see what people have as an icon :smirk:

I’m a little bunny! Also, thanks for linking to that smiley plugin, I went ahead and installed it myself because it’s useful!

I don’t think kids should be allowed when it’s for adults only, unless they can behave and/or the parent(s) are watching over them. I had the same issue where I used to swim before, I only went swimming on the day it was for adults, but sometimes there were kids there along with their parents. Now, I wouldn’t mind at all if they kept to the shallow end, but they ran around everywhere, jumped into the middle of the pool where we were swimming and splashed us with water, yelled and were basically obnoxious. Urgh šŸ˜”
