Christmas Shopping

I am slowly trying to get my Christmas shopping done. I have got my side of the family finished, but I still need to get things for Peter’s side of the family. The thing is, only a couple of them have sent me a Christmas list. I called my in-laws to ask them what they wanted and they said, “We have everything we need.” Well a lot of help that was  I mean I know you “have everything you need” but I can’t show up on Christmas day and not bring anything with me. I guess everyone getting together and spending Christmas together is nice, but I still want to have a gift in tow. So I might end up just getting them a gift card or something. If people don’t tell me what they want, they get a gift card. HMPH.

So how is everyone else’s Christmas shopping going? I can already tell that the stores are getting super busy. It was weird tonight though, out of the 4 stores I went in, 3 were dead and 1 was super busy. But it was Wal-Mart, so of course it was busy LOL. I sure hope that when (IF!) we go down to the States in 2 weeks, it won’t be too busy. It will be the week before Christmas…but I am hoping if we go to the stores during the day, most people will be at work. *fingers crossed* That way I can finish my Christmas shopping for good.

PLUS my mother in-law told me that the stores have White Fudge Oreos again this year!! I am in heaven  I am going to buy like 10 boxes and freeze them. Then I can ration them out for the rest of the year. Ha. I am such a nerd!

I bought my first Christmas gift this summer in Denmark, actually, a present for my mum since I can’t find that in Norway 😀 Aaand I have bought another little present for my mum. Other than that I haven’t started xD I’m not even sure what I’m going to get, but I need to get started soon before it’s too late :O

Oy, Christmas shopping. Just when I think I’m done, I remember someone I’d forgotten. It seems to never end!

The white fudge Oreos are back? :O I too am going to have to stock up! You’re not a nerd — you’re just a planner with good taste. 😉

I haven’t really been able to do much Christmas shopping this year financially. I guess moving overseas is a good excuse, though! Good luck getting the rest of yours done!!
