Burning calories is important, right?! That’s why we all go to the gym. So lately, I have been wondering about calories on the cadio machines that I use at the gym. I always enter my weight and age when I start so that I can get the most accurate readings for calories. When I am done on a cardio machine, I look at how many calories I have burned.
On certain machines, I sweat quite a lot. But then again, on other machines, I only sweat just a little bit. Now what is weird, and what is boggling my mind, is that I tend to burn more calories on the machine where I don’t sweat as much. This is according to the calorie reading on the machine, of course. Then, on another machine, which says I burn the least amount of calories of all the machines I use, I sweat like crazy.
So what machine gives me the most benefit? Should I go by the calories on the machines or by how sweaty I am? I just don’t know what to think. I work just as hard on all the machines.
Anyway, I tend to go longer on the machines where I sweat more as oppose to the ones that say I burn more calories. But it really makes me wonder!!
What do you think??
