Well it’s Monday and so I would normally write out my meal planning for the week. But Peter and I are headed off to Banff on Wednesday for a few days. We will be back late Friday. We had initially planned to go skiing, but I honestly don’t think that will happen. It’s probably been more than 7 years since I’ve been skiing and over 10 for Peter. I think we should take some lessons first to refresh ourselves. It’s a shame because we have 2-for-1 ski rentals and I don’t want it to go to waste. Oh well. We got it with the deal for our hotel. For $200 we get 2 nights in a full suite (with kitchen, Jacuzzi and fire place), a bottle of wine, a cheese tray and then the skiing coupon. Not a bad deal at all!! Thank you wagjag.
So here are some of my “plans” for meals this week. These could possibly change, so who knows what will happen in my kitchen.
Tuesday: A new sushi place opened up a few blocks from our house so we want to try it.
Wednesday-Friday: We’ll be in Banff, AB, Canada!!
Saturday: Slow Cooked Pulled Pork (again) and homemade sweet potato fries
Sunday: Swiss Enchiladas
Monday: Chicken Salad and edamame
