Last Day of March

Wow, it’s the last day of March already. I can hardly believe it. It seems like I was just in Seattle, but that was at the beginning of March! Crazy. The weather has been pretty much dreadful in March  and so I am looking forward to some sunshine in April! Actually there is sunshine today, but I don’t want to jinx it LOL.

Yesterday Peter and I went for a walk and out of nowhere, there was a police officer riding a horse down the street. It was very random, but very cool to see! I knew that we had horse patrol in Calgary, but I thought it was only downtown and usually only during the Stampede. I had to take a picture for 365, but it didn’t turn out very well. We didn’t stop to talk to the officer as he was on the phone (while riding a horse??!!), but I am curious as to why he was out in our community, on a horse no less!

Why haven’t there been any good movies out lately??!! I haven’t seen a new movie in months and months because there just hasn’t been any I have wanted to spend my money to see. I just finished reading Water For Elephants, which was a fantastic book, so I want to see that movie when it comes out in April. Has anyone else seen a good movie lately?

There’s been a movie drought or something lately 🙁 We’re going to watch Red Riding Hood on Saturday, it was the least bad movie we could find. But maybe I’ll like it anyway? 😛

“as he was on the phone (while riding a horse??!!)” lol, I guess it’s better than driving

everyone keeps saying how good Water for Elephants is. I don’t doubt it’s good, but it’s historical fiction about a circus, right? Doesn’t sound like my cup of tea. Myabe I’ll try it anyway
