I did it! I finally got back on track for real this time. I am so proud of myself. After my horrible weigh in last week at WW, I vowed that I wouldn’t let the situation get any more out of control. And I stood by that vow this week. I tracked my points daily on the iwatchr app on my iPhone. I exercised as much as I could (while taking a day off)! And I stopped eating when I felt full. Those are 3 things I have been struggling with for the past couple months. I was so happy to go to bed each night and not have to reprimand myself for the bad food/exercise choices I made during the day. I feel so good!
So I lost 3.3lbs this week. That means that I am only 6.9lbs away from my goal weight. That is so great. I hope to be back at my goal weight by the end of June. If I am not, that’s okay too, as long as I stay on track!! I will get there eventually. It just goes to show you what persistence and determination can get you. If you have the will, you have the way!
I decided not to dwell too much on the running thing. I let Ron know that I don’t think a half marathon is my thing at this point in my “running career.” I still went for 3 runs this week and I enjoyed each one. There was no pressure to go a certain pace, distance or time. I just ran until I felt like it was enough. I like running like that. Maybe one day in the future I will be ready for a half marathon, but not any time soon.
It’s been a great week and I look forward to the upcoming week.
