Happy Canada Day!

Whoo! It’s my favourite day of the year 🙂 HAPPY CANADA DAY! Even if you’re not Canadian, celebrate with a nice drink tonight! Yay. Here is a picture of this year’s ensemble:

Canada Day 2011

Nights 1 and 2 went really well without Peter. The first night I heard some weird gun shot like noises. I thought they were coming from downstairs, but I soon realized they were coming from outside and that they were fireworks. Two days before Canada day. Not really sure why someone was lighting fireworks on June 29th anyway. Last night I was so exhausted and so I fell asleep right away. Didn’t even wake up in the middle of the night. It was a wonderful sleep. It might have been so good because Peter phoned me last night from the campground!! I got to speak with him for a few minutes and he said he might even call me tonight. It’s weird because he is so close to the US border, his phone is picked up AT&T for it’s network instead of Telus. I hope he doesn’t get charged with roaming charges. I would definitely dispute it. I mean he’s in the country!!

BBQ at my mom’s tonight to celebrate Canada Day. We might go watch the fireworks a little later, but we’re not quite sure yet. Happy Canada Day!

oh gosh, that’s quite an outfit.

one of our neighbors has been setting off fireworks for the last few weeks and they’re illegal in NJ unless it’s for a professional display. not cool
