Coming Along

The weight loss issue went okay this weekend. I worked out twice and ate decently. I did splurge a few times and yes, I regret it now. But what’s done is done. I have tried to be very conscious of what I am doing and I am actually tracking my food for the first time in a long time. I feel a bit better and hopefully I can keep it up. I look forward to weighing in next Friday to see if I get any results. No stepping on the scale before then. I can’t dwell on the number. It makes me crazy.

Peter and I went to an all you can eat sushi joint tonight. It was also an ayce BBQ and you want to know the cool part?! The BBQ was in the middle of our table!! We got to cook the meat ourselves to the point of our liking. It was so awesome. The BBQ kept me warm the entire time too. I loved it. It was the first time we had tried this place and we were a little skeptical because we had read more bad reviews than good. Well it proves that you should never put all your eggs in one basket. We will definitely be back to that sushi joint. The food was great, the service was good and the experience was delightful.

My friends and I saw What To Expect When You’re Expecting today. It was okay. Definitely makes me rethink childbirth. LOL. No, not really. But I know pregnancy and the birthing process will be a whole different experience than anything else I have ever known. Not to mention the child that I will have to take care of for the rest of my life. Not ready for that yet. Maybe one day :blank:

It’s a short work week for me this week as I have an appointment on Tuesday afternoon. So tomorrow is my “Friday.” I am so ready for 3 days off in a row!!

You guys should try “Ichi Rock [ra:ku]” downtown. I had it a few weeks ago and almost died. I get pretty sick of sushi and other Asian food because my friends love it, so I was DREADING going there but it was amazing. They have sushi of course (the Alaska rolls are my favourite. I could have had 3 plates), but also like… modern Japanese pub food, I guess? We ate this thing that was like a cheesy bacon pancake with cabbage which sounds totally ridiculous but was actually so yummy. My friend who loves teriyaki said theirs was the best she ever had. And the restaurant itself is so cute and cozy. SO YEAH. 😛

Haha, I watched Knocked Up a few days ago. Talk about rethinking childbirth, lol.
