Last week for week 5 of meal planning was a lot like the week before with only being about 85% on track. I found out recently that I probably won’t be working Friday nights anymore (YES!!!) and so we ended up going to Burger King. Ugh, see what happens when I don’t have a plan?! Yuck. We also had Sushi tonight instead of the planned cabbage rolls. I always seem to crave sushi on Sundays. It’s weird because our favourite sushi joint is closed on Sundays. We tried a new place today and it was such a disappointment. There was so much mayonnaise in the California rolls and the rice was too sticky and wet. The rolls were falling apart as well. We won’t go to that new place again.
Here is the meal plan for this week:
Monday – Dinner at a friend’s house
Tuesday – Pasta Tuesday at Boston Pizza
Wednesday – Marla’s Maple Pork
Thursday – Chicken Fajita Lasagna
Friday – Pepperoncini Beef Sandwiches
Saturday – Salsa Sauced Chicken
Sunday – Giving cabbage rolls another try this week. Maybe they’ll actually get made this time!
