Las Vegas

The last time I was in Las Vegas was in September 2011 for a wedding. I swore to myself that I wouldn’t come back. I really did not have a great time.

However, here I am, in Vegas again. Yeah, I know I don’t make sense. I guess it’s just a place that I wanted to give another chance. Last time I was here, I was with a girl who had already been here twice and she didn’t really want to do anything. It really sucked for my first time to be so “boring.” 

Anyway, so I am here with the couple who got married here, their baby and another friend. So far we are having a nice time, although we were all very tired from the flight yesterday. The little baby was the most tired. He had a long day and of course he was confused as to where he was and what was going on. We are hoping for a better day as he gets used to his surroundings. It’s definitely different vacationing with a baby, but not bad. He’s a little cutie and is so lucky to be in Vegas at 4 months old!!

It’s pretty cold here, but I have to keep telling myself it is not as bad as Calgary with the snow and everything!

There are so many amazing places to eat around here. I want to taste everything we walk by! I am totally excited to eat my face off haha. I’m going to go all out while I’m here because we all know that when I get home I am going back on my diet! Yesterday we ate at Earl of Sandwich and it’s definitely my favourite so far. Mmm, mmm, good!

We are doing some shopping today and then we might hit the blackjack tables tonight. It’s an open itinerary here and we are playing things by ear!
