Mexican blues

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year since Peter and I were in Mexico for a wedding. I long for that trip now. It was amazing. All inclusive bliss. Beautiful sun, delicious food and unlimited cross stitching time. What more can a girl ask for?! Ha, I still haven’t uploaded the photos from the trip. Can you say procrastination!?
Ah, this year has gone by so fast. It’s a shame that the marriage we went to witness in Mexico has already broken up and reconciled. The couple has been together for 10+ years and all it took was a little marriage certificate to cause adultery and a break up. Maybe they would have been better off not getting married. Oh well, as of this moment in time, they are together. 
I wish I could say that we have another big vacation planned, but we don’t. There has been mention of another trip to Florida in October. However, it won’t be a Disney World trip. My in-laws are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary and as they have a vacation rental in Cape Coral, they want to fly all of the family down for a week’s vacation to celebrate. They mentioned this trip at Christmas but nothing has been confirmed since then. They promised to pay for the flights and that is fine with me as that are always the most expensive part. I guess we will see what happens with that.

Your trip to Mexico sounds lovely! I feel the same way about Hawaii. I’m still longing to go back, even though it’s been less than a year.
That’s too bad that the marriage broke apart so soon though. I think it’s weird when marriage changes people who were already in a relationship for so long. I didn’t think it felt much different!
I hope your trip to Cape Coral goes through. That sounds fun!

Maybe it’s something about people that get married in Mexico. My friend was down there for a wedding and she asked the groom if he really wanted to marry her friend (because she was acting insane) and he said no. Yeah, I give that marriage a few weeks.
