Well Peter and I have two more weeks until we leave for Florida. I am still in a little bit of shock. When I posted about this trip in August, I knew it would come fast, and it sure has. I normally plan a big vacation almost a year in advance, so 2 months is cutting it so close to me. However, it sounds like my in-laws have everything planned perfectly, including a day to day itinerary. We will be a busy family in Cape Coral, for sure. I also have the itinerary planned pretty well for Peter and I in the second week in Orlando.
I am humming and hawing over tickets to go see Book of Mormon, as it just so happens to be playing while we are there. It is one of my favourite musicals and I was finally able to see it in Toronto in June. It will be the same cast and show in Orlando, so I am wondering if I really need to spend 150+ per ticket to see it again so soon. Plus, there is rumor that it might be coming to Calgary next year. As you (may or may not) know, I am a theatre snob. I like to be in the first couple rows when I go to see a show. I figure if I’m paying all that money, I want to be able to see the sweat running down the actors faces. Hahaha. So I couldn’t get any closer than the 8the row for BOM and now those tickets have been sold. I don’t know what to do. I keep checking for new tickets being released every day. So that may or may not be on our itinerary. Peter and I already bought tickets for Medieval Times and that will definitely be his favourite part.
My in-laws have so much planned for the 9 of us to do, I can’t even keep track. It will be a busy, but super fun week! I sure hope the weather holds up nicely. I’ve packed an assortment of tshirts, tanks, shorts and pants. It’s such a hard time of year to determine the weather. My mother in-law will be driving down there this week so she will be taking our suitcases with her. We are flying United and they charge for baggage. Good thing we are flying Westjet home, that way we can bring all our goodies back in our suitcases.
Even though I am sure he wouldn’t want to admit it, Peter is looking forward to this trip. Two full weeks away! He keeps mentioning it at random times and he’s even talked about it with people at work. That’s HUGE for Peter as he usually doesn’t care about things like this. I am now fully convinced that I’ve converted him into a Disney parks lover!! My husband makes me happier every day I am married to him
