Forever and a day

Forever and a day, that is how long I will love my best friend. It’s been 6 years since Peter and I walked down the aisle as husband and wife and it really does seems like yesterday. We are still so much in love as we were from the beginning. This will be our last anniversary that we actually spend as a couple alone. In less than 3 months, we will be welcoming a new member to our family :) This next year will definitely bring some brand new adventures to our life.

I am a little ashamed to admit that most of the day wasn’t even spent together today. I had to work this morning and Peter has had his friends over all day playing Dungeons & Dragons. I made fajitas for supper for everyone and now I am headed to bed in a little bit. I’m not really sad about the fact that we didn’t spend the day together because we still have our whole lives ahead of us! Plus, we usually only celebrate the bigger milestones when it comes to anniversaries (5 years, 10 years, 15 years, etc). Last year we went to Disney World! Anyway, we still managed to snap our traditional anniversary photo!

Happy anniversary to you two! Sometimes we don’t celebrate on our actual anniversary date. We kind of pick a nearby date that’s convenient, haha. Last year, we didn’t take our anniversary trip until a month later!

I love that you guys take an anniversary photo every year :) Also, three months is so soon! I’m excited for you!

Aww, look at you! <3 It sounds like life is just coming together beautifully for you, with the house and the baby and everything. You seem so happy! :)

We rarely remember to celebrate our anniversary actually. Neither of us can remember what date we got together, haha! I'm thinking it might become different once we're married and have the wedding date to go with instead. :)

(Love the idea with annual photos btw!)

Well first off, congratulations on your soon-to-be arrival! :D Babies are a wonderful addition to a family, truly a blessing.

Also, happy (late) anniversary! :) You guys are adorable together, and your pictures are so colorful and happy!
