December already

Well it’s December 1st. Wow, I am still in shock at how fast November went. I can seriously say it was the fastest month of my entire life. For real. What with having a baby and all, you know.

I am a little sad that I couldn’t commit to NaBloPoMo this year, but I will definitely give it a try again next year. Heck, I think they do some sort of NaBloPoMo every month, so I can really participate whenever I want to. I have to get used to my new life a little more first.

I picked up our rent today from our tenants and while I was waiting at a traffic light, I noticed my odometer. Apparently I am almost 1000kms overdue for an oil change. Whoops. Now that I think back on it, getting the oil change was something I was going to do in the couple days I had left, after I stopped working, before my due date. Of course, little miss Ezri had a different plan altogether and came early.

I am finding now that I have to write everything I need/want to do down. That includes groceries, errands, gifts, etc. I just have so much going through my head and I can’t seem to stay on top of it all. It’s hard having a newborn, that’s for sure. I can’t get everything done in one shot like I used to. There are…interruptions. Feedings and diaper changes and crying fits. It all takes time I tell you. But I am having a blast. I couldn’t imagine life without my daughter. That’s still a bit weird to say, by the way. I have a daughter. Wow.

I am excited to see what December brings. We have appointments and events and soon enough the month will fly by, just like November did. Christmas is only 24 days away!! Ahh.

Hopefully I will be back to post again soon. For now I will leave you with a picture of Ezri having some tummy time today.

i think you can cut yourself some slack about not being able to post everyday in November! You gave birth to another little human! Plus, I think you’ve been handling life pretty well with a newborn. My mom would need about three months of sleep before she could even think about sweeping or mopping the floors. You’re a natural!

Now you get to experience Christmas as a mommy too!

It makes sense that you couldn’t do NaBloPoMo this year with a new baby 🙂 Like you said, perhaps you can do it a different month instead!

Aww, she is so adorable! I’m glad you’re having such a great time 🙂 Have a wonderful December!

You gave birth to a beautiful little girl, that’s as good as any excuse for not being able to complete NaBloPoMo.

There is NaBloPoMo every month. I think that you have had your hands full though and should not beat yourself up for not being able to do it!

It funny I am 1000 overdue for an oil change too. Comes so quick, feels like I just bought the car but it was in June. Time goes by so fast.

I have to say Baby Ezri is the most adorable baby ever! She is so sweet.
