Christmas 2014

Merry Christmas 2014

Peter, Ezri and I had a pretty low key Christmas this year. It will probably be the last uneventful one we’ll ever have. Next year we’ll probably end up tying the tree to the wall and only decorating the top half. Lol. That or just put a baby gate around it. We’ll have to see what Ezri is like at 13 months.

We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house. We picked up my Grandma on our way over. We exchanged gifts with the fireplace on the tv in the background. The cats were there to watch as well. I was proud of everyone because no one went overboard and spent too much. We all enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner together afterward.

Christmas morning was spent watching The Polar Express. We went to visit Peter’s family in the afternoon. Then it was leftover turkey for dinner!

It was great to spend the time with family. I also enjoyed my first glass of wine since before I found out I was pregnant. It was probably the best drink I’ve ever had. Long overdue!

Here is the loot I received this year:

We didn’t buy Ezri too much. In fact she got one present from us. Actually, it’s probably more of a gift for Peter and I. πŸ˜€ We bought her a swing. She loves it. She either sits and chills or falls asleep. It lets us put her down and get a few things done around the house. Love it!

I’m already excited for next year when Ezri will know what is going on. Well at least she’ll know something exciting is happening!

Aw, you guys look so cute in the first photo! That’s nice that you guys had a low key Christmas. I actually prefer it that way because I want to be able to relax during the holidays πŸ™‚ It looks like you got a lot of nice gifts too! That’s great that Ezri loves the swing and gives you a chance to do a few things while she sits in it.

I hope you have a happy new year too!

It sounds like you guys had a nice & relaxing Christmas – just the way it should be, in my opinion πŸ˜‰ Your daughter is absolutely precious and looks totally content in the swing! My daughter loved her swing when she was that little, she would nap in it all day if I let her <3

I see you got Nightmare Before Christmas! Awesome movie, and definitely one of my all-time-favorites! Hope you guys have an awesome New Years Eve!
