Happy birthday my little munchkin!!!!!!
You are ONE YEAR OLD today!! I can’t believe it. Can I still say baby girl Ezri? I’m not so sure anymore. You are very soon going to be my toddler. This year has flown by so fast. I have been with you 24 hours a day for the past year and I have loved every single minute.
Last month, you took your first steps, but this month you started fully walking!! You walk everywhere you can. We are still trying to get you to walk with shoes. It’s hard to keep them on your feet as you rip them off all the time. You don’t even crawl anymore. I am shocked how fast you’ve become my little walker. You often just pace the living room, checking out your surroundings. It’s a whole new world for you!!
Your first two teeth popped through this month!! One morning you went to bed with no teeth and the next you woke up with a little corner poking through. Your gummy smiles are no more, but your toothy smiles are even cuter! I am so happy that your teething hasn’t seemed to bother you at all. You have always been a bad sleeper, so it didn’t affect that in anyway. We haven’t needed to give you Tylenol or any medication for it. You are such a trooper. Hopefully the rest of your teeth pop through just as easy.
One of your new favourite things is to mimic and copy! You have four tricks that you’ve become expert at copying when someone else does them. Clapping hands, growling, sucking your teeth/gums and playing with your lips while making bubble noises. So cute! So smart.
You, your grandma and I drove down to Great Falls again for another shopping trip. I have to go back to work next week and so we wanted to have another little shopping spree before then. I was very impressed that you were still able to nap on the go. You enjoyed being out of the car seat and sitting in the shopping cart! It was a big change from out trip when you were 6 months. You loved play with all the items we put into the cart.
I have enjoyed writing you a letter each month for the past year and it will be something special we will have forever! I am excited for you to read them in the years to come. I love you forever and am very excited to continue to see you grow and learn. No matter what happens, you will ALWAYS be my baby girl Ezri.
Love you to the ends of the earth and back.
Love your Mommy
