A final Disney hurrah

Ezri & Mickey

The picture above is what gave me the idea to do something a little crazy……Ezri and I are Disneyland bound one last time before we become a family of 4! It is something I feel I need to do and so we are jetting off at the end of September. Unfortunately Peter is unable to come with us this time as he can’t get the time off work. He wants to be able to have a full two weeks off once the baby arrives and he only has so much vacation time to use. So my Mom is actually going to travel with Ezri and I. I was perfectly happy to go alone with just Ezri, but it will be nice to have some other adult company.

I know it sounds like crazy idea to go to a Disney park when I will be over 30 weeks pregnant, but it’s just something I have to do with Ezri. I need to have one last special trip with my only baby before she’s not my only baby anymore. Also this will be the last trip she is free of charge to travel on an airplane.

I checked into travel insurance and we are completely covered under our health benefits if anything were to happen. The only thing that would not be covered would be IF the baby is born while away; the baby would not be covered. Insurance can’t cover the unborn. But nothing is going to happen. Baby will stay in my belly and Ezri and I will be just fine for our trip!!

I plan for it to be a really laid back trip. It’s not going to be go go go or anything like that. We will take in the parades and shows and fireworks and there will be plenty of characters greetings. We’ll hit up some rides too, but that won’t be the main focus, like it usually is. After all, both Ezri and I cannot go on any of the thill rides and I’m totally fine with that. We will be sure to go back to the hotel for naps and swimming to break up our days. We are staying right across the street from the parks, so it is no hassle to go back and forth. We even have 1 day planned for shopping.

So we also decided to be a little wild and crazy and we bought tickets for Mickey’s Halloween party. I know Ezri is still a bit young for trick or treating or to really understand what is going on, but I’m sure she’ll have fun anyway. As soon as people start giving her treats, she’ll catch on pretty quick, haha. Plus, it will give us a chance to see another parade and fireworks show! I think I will bring along Ezri’s Finding Nemo outfit or her Sulley Monster’s Inc outfit to wear to the party. I’m not sure yet what my Mom and I will wear. We may try to coordinate with Ezri or may not.

It’s less than a month until we leave and I’m getting pretty excited. I am hoping that the new iPhone comes out before we go so that I can have a decent camera to take pictures with! My iPhone 5 is really starting to show its age!

Disneyland, here we come!!

So exciting! I’m so glad that you’re getting to go! I know you’ve really been wanting to and I think it’s a really sweet idea to bond with Ezri before the new little one comes along.

I hope that you girls have so much fun and that you get to make the memories and experience the relaxation you hope to have!

Disney is definitely on my wishlist but until I get there, every time my friend goes I have her buy me something Tigger, LOL! So far I have a Tigger pen, journal and keychain.

    Have fun, momma!

It doesn’t sound crazy, but it sounds like it’s going to be absolutely magical! 🙂

I can’t say I’m a fan of thrill rides! I went to Disneyland Paris and I found myself in tears and my body in complete agony after one of the very fast rides with a 360. I’m not really a rides person.

Wishing you, Ezri and your mum the funnest trip, and all the best with the remainder of your pregnancy 🙂

yay Disney! have fun! I’m so excited for our trip.
I’m glad I decided against the halloween party though. Well, for one, it’s extremely expensive ON Halloween, it’s past his bedtime and based on how he reacted to the characters and sesame place, I think it would have been a disaster, lol. I’m hoping he’ll take to Pooh and Mickey since he’s familiar with those guys, but I don’t hold much hope for anyone else
