I found it really hard to get back into my exercise routine this week. After having 2 weeks off and not doing very much strenuous exercise, I sure had to take it slow. I mean I was walking A LOT in Disney World, but that’s nothing compared to what I normally do every day.
So my routine is usually 2hr 40min straight cardio where I am sweating like a pig. I don’t stop for breaks either. And then I do my stretching and abs and stuff. I usually work out 3hrs a day. A lot, I know. 😮 But it’s just become normal for me. I don’t really think about it anymore. Anyway…I had to slow it down on Tuesday-Friday. I worked my way up (time-wise) and by yesterday, I was back to my normal routine. I even went for a run today because the gym is closed.
It felt so weird to not feel as confident in myself while exercising. I felt out of shape, which I haven’t been for a few months. It was disheartening. I mean it only takes a little bit of time to get out of shape, but a whole lot more to get into shape. Ick. I hope I never get as out of shape as I was again. :unsure:
