Nearly Complete

So school is almost over. I have exactly one week left. I have enjoyed my time at University SO much. Taking the Web Design certificate was one of the best decisions I ever made. Although I have been making my own personal websites for years, it was great to get some formal teaching. Many programs that I haven’t even dabbled in are now at my finger tips!! Illustrator, Flash, Acrobat, Dreamweaver! The Adobe Creative suite is a web designer’s best friend!!! 🙂 I hope to improve my design skills with the new skills I have gained.

So because of school, I have been pretty busy! I am in school M-F and then I work at the restaurant on the weekend. I am definitely looking forward to getting back to my normal work schedule and my normal days off.

However, I did apply for a job. A REAL job! It’s an actual web designer position. I don’t know when or if I will hear from the company, but I look forward to more opportunities to apply for more web designing positions. After all, what else did I go to school for?! I need to get my career started. 🙂

On the weight loss front, it’s not going so great. I lost 4lbs of the 10 that I gained since reaching my goal weight, but I’ve gained 2lbs back already. What’s wrong with me?! Why am I sabotaging myself?! I just need to really focus again. It’s going to be hard, but I know that I can do it. I mean I’ve already done it.

I want to blog more often, but I am off to work on my final web design project which is due at the end of the week!

Good luck, I really hope that you get the job you have applied for. I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my weird loss journey as well. I’ve been stagnant at 147-149 pounds and all I want to do is reach the next stepping stone of 145. It’s becoming frustrating and embarrassing that I’ve been up and down for the month of June. I’m getting so close to my goal of 135 but I’m tired of waiting. I just want to be there already. *sigh*
