I know that I have posted about this in the past. But I think it needs to be stated again.
I have an obsession with Mcdonalds.
I LOVE it. It is my favourite fast food place to eat. I could probably have it most nights of the week and not get sick of it. My favourite thing to get is a cheeseburger (with extra pickles) and fries. I love how tiny the onions are on the burger and the mixture of the onions with with pickles and ketchup create heaven in my mouth.
However, as I am actively trying to lose weight and stay healthy, it is probably not a good idea to be having Mcdonalds too often. I know how bad everything is for me. I know all the nutritional stats. I just can’t help the totally intense cravings I get for it. So I give in every so often.
Unfortunately, Canadian Mcdonalds are currently having their annual Mcdonalds Monopoly game. Therefore Peter and I are going way more often then we should. But wait, it gets worse. In order to get the game pieces, we have to supersize to a large fries. And where I would normally order a 6-piece chicken nuggets, the game pieces only come on the 10 or 20 piece ones. PLUS, I can’t go to Mcdonalds without getting my cheeseburger, so I have to order one of those too. We look like such pigs leaving that place with our bag of food. In all honesty, we really don’t end up eating everything, but my question is WHY can’t the game pieces be on the medium fries and smaller portion foods?! That is why I think Mcdonalds has it in for us. They want to make us fat.
Now I am not really blaming Mcdonalds. It is all my choice and I am making the wrong ones. I just wish I had a little bit of self control when it comes to that stupid restaurant. Ugh. It’s not even real meat. Why in the world do I have such an obsession with it?!
