It really is the small things in life that can make the difference between a happy and not so happy life. A compliment for someone when they’re having a bad day, a friendly wave or even a little note left behind.
This note was left on the door knob for me this morning. Peter was out late last night gaming at his friend’s house and didn’t come home until past 2:30am. I was fast asleep when he crawled into bed and, of course, I had to get up way earlier than he rolled out of bed. This little note just made my day. It is something as simple as this that can make the difference. We’ve had a whole lot of snow dumped in Calgary this weekend and he was concerned for me to get to work safe. It’s not often that I get a tiny note like this, so I had to bring the note to work and share my joy with my co-workers.
Knowing that someone cares and is thinking about you is the best feeling in the world. Peter still surprises me, every day. I truly married the most amazing man in the world!
