July 3, 2008 // Tattoo
I just made an appointment to get a tattoo for tomorrow! Ah. I am excited. It will be my second and hopefully last. I said to myself that I wouldn't get another one...but I guess I lied. Anyway...the appointment is booked and it's too late now LOL happy I am going to be getting something very similar to this. It is going to go onto my inner forearm. I hope it won't hurt too much. Anyway, when it is healed and pretty, then I will take a picture and show you guys!!!

After two weeks of WW, I have lost a total of 7.4 pounds! Its definitely a start. I just wish it would come off faster. LOL. Oh well, it's better than nothing smirk

Guess what....my birthday is in a week!!! AHHH I'm going to be 21, which means legal EVERYWHERE in the world! cool

June 28, 2008 // Fan Fiction
I have been reading a little bit of fan fiction lately and I don't know why. blank I went through a phase a few years ago where I read it all the time. Then I just got sick of the stupid pairings and stupid scenarios and my favourite author disappeared from the internet...so I gave it up. But the other day I was reading some Harry Potter fiction and I quite enjoyed myself. I was reading a lot of Ginny/Draco pairings...I don't know why. LOL. Anyway, that's some of what I have been doing lately.

So I totally bought this camera the other day. I know I bought one about a year ago, but this one sounded really good....PLUS, the obvious seller for me, it has a maple leaf on it!!! happy Perfect for the perfect Canadian Girl. So happy with it. I haven't had much stuff to take pictures of, but on Canada Day I will for sure! I have to show you all my outfit and stuff. HAHAHA.

So thank you for all your well wishes about Weight Watchers. I am doing well so far. In my first week, I lost 4.6 pounds! I was quite pleased. Hopefully it keeps that steady for a while! I have also found some great recipes which make it more "bearable!" blush

June 22, 2008 // Weight Watchers
So I joined Weight Watchers on Tuesday with my mom. Day 6 today and I am doing well. I haven't "cheated" at all. Of course it's a little hard to cheat with WW because they say that WW isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle change. It helps you manage portions and helps you not overeat. I mean, I can eat what I want, I just have to count the points for it. I get 30 points a day and I can spend them however I want. I just have to make sure that I drink 6 glasses of water a day, have 5 servings of fruits/vegetables, have 2 servings of milk and 2 servings of oil. So if I wanted to have a piece of pizza, I can. It will be like 10 points or something LOL. I will get measured on Thursday and we'll see how I do for my first week! I feel good and refreshed. I am glad that I am doing something to manage my weight. smirk

Canada day is coming up so soon and I am totally excited. I have found quite a few good Canada buys so far and hopefully there is more this week!! BOO YAH. geek

June 16, 2008 // Things I should be doing....
There are so many things I should be doing right now and I am not. I am so bad for procrastinating. Number one thing I should be doing right now is working out. I need to lose weight and I told myself I would start today. But I am really exhausted from work. I will go tomorrow though. Before I have any fun (it's my day off!!) I am going to the gym. Yup. blank

What I have been doing in the last week or so is lots. I have watched many movies, have painted all the baseboards and most of the doors in my house, have been working full time, have changed the electrical outlets and light switches in the house, and have moved 3 couches into our living room from Peter's parents house and finally finished the living room! It's still so weird to actually having something in the living room because it has been empty for months! LOL. Anyway, even though I haven't been online a lot, I think that I have accomplished quite a bit offline! There is still so much to do unfortunately. I will get to it though, in time.

Oh my gosh shocked Am I ever excited for this!!! It's finally coming to Canada on July 11th! Just one day after my birthday!!! WHOOO. From the website, all the features sound so amazing. It even has a built in GPS and I have always wanted one of those! I wanted to watch the keynotes video, but it just won't work properly on my computer. I wish there was another way besides quicktime that I could view it sad I have never actually held an iPhone, but people who have it say it is the best thing in the world! It's definitely at the top of my wishlist. Mwahaha. love

What do you all think of the new iPhone that is coming out???? smirk

June 7, 2008 // Back
I'm back from Edmonton. Got tons of stuff and spent too much money. It was nice to get away and they had better weather than Calgary was having so that made me happy. The most exciting thing I found were dry roasted sunflower seeds. They are really hard to find here in Canada. I have looked ALL over Calgary and anywhere me or my parents/friends have gone in the past year, they have looked and have found nothing. The states supposedly have them everywhere so I don't understand why I couldn't find them. But in Edmonton I visited a 'Wal-Mart Supercentre,' which was absolutely amazing, and I found them there! I love Wal-Mart and so putting it together with a grocery store is like a dream come true! LOL. blush Anyway, that made me pretty happy. I also got lots of Canada clothing and ate way too much junk food. I'm sad to be back and back at work...but only until we go camping for two weeks in July! WHOO.

Peter and I bought our wedding rings today. Totally excited. Mine looks like this which goes great with my engagement ring. Peter's is pretty simple, but nice. I couldn't find a picture of it unfortunately. But it is a mixture of titanium and gold. They are both pretty nice and it's going to be hard to wait until September to wear mine!!

Just so everyone knows...I LOVE Zip.ca. I know I said that in the last post, but it is even more true now because I received my dvds and have already watched one. Ah, it is just so cool and really cheap! Makes me so happy. WHOOO. love

May 31, 2008 // Netflix
So I stumbled upon Netflix the other day and I got really excited because it sounded so perfect and a really great deal. Unfortunately, it's only for residents of the USA sad My hopes were brought so high and then smashed to the floor. It sucked. And everyone I have asked has said that it is one of the best services in the entire world and they LOVE it. Anyway, after almost giving up, I searched for "Netflix in Canada" on google and it came up with a site called Zip.ca! It's almost exactly the same as Netflix, except that it is for Canadians!!! It has a smaller stock of dvds and I can't view online. But that's ok...I signed up immediately. It's cheap and I get unlimited rentals each month. No late fees or due dates. It's wonderful. So, I need some of your suggestions on what movies/tv shows I should rent!? Please, comment and let me know cool

May 28, 2008 // RENT
Ah! Guess what?! I got to go see the broadway musical RENT on Saturday night. It was absolutely AMAZING! It is not very often that a broadway musical comes to Calgary, but when they do, I always have to go and see them. Rent was only in town for three days and I got tickets for the second row! happy It was so good that we gave a standing ovation. Even after the actors left the stage, we were still clapping and so they came back and bowed again! I really loved all the special effects. They lighting went so well with the songs. And there was a song, Christmas Bells, that was in the play that wasn't in the movie and I really liked it. I wish they hadn't left it out in the movie LOL. The actors were so believeable. They were totally in tune with their characters. I will admit that I didn't like the people who played Angel and Collins. I just kept thinking about the actors from the movie and how they were way better. The person who played Collins (some American Idol finalist or something) had a high voice and I always pictured Collins with a deep voice like in the movie. And the actor who played Angel was trying waaaay too hard to be feminine. Oh well. The musical was amazing and I so happy that I got to have the chance to see it!

Well, I have been busy working and trying to get wedding plans together. It sure is a lot of work. Whew. I am also going to Edmonton for a few days next week. I don't think that I will have internet access. It doesn't matter though because hopefully I will post when I get home. I am hoping to find some good Canada stuff at the malls. It is getting close to July 1st and Canada Day stuff usually starts popping up in June.

I got my movie shelves up in my room. So I have a whole wall dedicated to my movies. I have 7 shelves spaning the wall and 6 are full and they are starting on the 7th. I really can't believe how many I actually have. It's crazy. But now they are at my fingertips, I have been watching more movies than I have been. It's just so easy to find them because I have alphabetized them. LOL. geek

Hopefully I will post again soon! blush

May 16, 2008 // Hot Summer Day
*sigh* I have just spent the last hour outside sitting in the sun on our new patio set (see picture to the left) cross stitching and enjoying a nice can of Dr. Pepper. I just absolutely LOVE summer. These are the first nice hot days we have had all year. The last few days have averaged 23-27 degrees celcius. It would be awesome if we had this kind of weather all the time. I would love to move down to California or closer to the equator so that everyday would be as nice as today! But I am just too attached to Calgary and Canada. Anyway, it's days like today that make up for it. The sun was hot as I was listening to Harry Potter and doing my sewing. cool Summer rocks!!

Unfortunately, now I have to go to work. doh I have to be stuck inside for 7 hours on such a beautiful day. Ah well, at least I got to enjoy it all day yesterday and this morning!

Prince Caspian came out today. Peter and I are going to see it tomorrow. I bought tickets for him for his birthday. I am sure we will enjoy it! If I get the motive, I may post about it happy
