Extra Dollar..
If you can figure this out, please let me know!!! Thanks.

3 men go into a motel. The desk clerk said the room was $30, so each man paid $10 and went to the room. A while later, the desk clerk realized the room was only $25, so he sent the bellboy to the 3 guys' room with $5. On the way, the bellboy couldn't figure out how to split $5 evenly between 3 men, so he gave each man $1 and kept the other $2 for himself. This meant that the 3 men each paid $9 for the room, which is a total of $27. Add to that the $2 the bellboy kept and the total is $29. Where is the other dollar?

Solutions
Solution 1 from Nicole: Okay, the $30 dollars for the room thing. Basically the bellboy just didn't give them correct change so that's why there was a "missing dollar". The guys in the room should have gotten $1.66 back. The bellboy kept 2, the guys got 1 each, that's still 5 dollars plus the charge of the room is 30. There's no missing dollar.

Solution 2 from Athy: If each guy payed 9 dollars they would have in total payed 27 dollars, but that is not true, the hotel has 25 dollars, 2 guys payed 8 dollars one payed an EXTRA dollar, 9 dollars, the bell boy has 2 dollas, and the guys each have 1 dollar, it all adds up, :)

***Solution 3 from Brittany: The busboy goes up to the room and gives each guy a dollar back, They all end up with paying 9 dollars each. Except, if you pay $25 for the room and you add the $3 they received back, that's $28. Then if you add the other $2 that the busboy took that makes $30.
